Cookies, trackers and external content

Luxiol · Chaussée d'Ixelles 221, 1050 Ixelles, Belgique · Version date: 10 September 2026

1. Principle

The Luxiol website uses or may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for its operation. Some external content may also store or read information on your device. Non-essential content must only be activated after you have given consent.

2. Current website configuration

As of the date of this policy, the application code does not intentionally deploy advertising tools or audience analytics tools. The website does, however, contain external content that may establish a connection with third parties:

  • Google Maps: an embedded map in the store visit section.
  • Instagram / Meta: embedded Instagram posts and Reels.
  • Google Reviews: external links to Google reviews; a simple link is only followed when the user clicks it.

Embedded Google Maps and Instagram content is blocked by default until the user accepts the relevant category. If consent is refused, a neutral placeholder is shown with a button allowing the user to enable external content.

4. Managing your choice

  • Strictly necessary cookies and trackers may operate without prior consent.
  • External content and any other non-essential tracker remain blocked until consent is given.
  • You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies through choices presented with equivalent prominence.
  • You can withdraw or change consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.
  • The consent choice may be stored for up to 6 months before asking again, unless an important change requires renewed consent sooner.

5. Third-party services

Google Maps

If you accept external content, the Google Maps map may load. Your browser may then send technical information to Google, such as your IP address, device and browser information, and other identifiers depending on service settings. Google operates under its own privacy rules.

Instagram / Meta

If you accept external content, embedded Instagram posts may load. Your browser may then send technical information to Meta, including when you are not logged into an Instagram account, depending on the service and your settings. Meta operates under its own privacy rules.

6. Browser settings

You may also delete cookies through your browser settings. Browser settings do not replace the website's consent mechanism for non-essential trackers.
